Plantation shutters offer a stylish solution for your home and can be custom painted.

Plantation shutters are a beautiful range of made to measure shutters suitable for windows and doors. They give a classic look to any room.

Shutters help to reduce noise levels and are both insulating and economical, giving ultimate light control – as well as low maintenance, being quick and easy to clean.

At Telford Sunblinds we cater for special shapes, circles, arches, unusual windows and gable installations.

You have the option of tilting them with slatted shutters, so you can have some protection, or they open the right way out on a boring day and free up the room. You can choose between full-height shutters or tier-level shutters where the top half of the window can be opened independently of the rest. This helps you to tilt some, absolutely take some out, or have some privacy. Shutters are also available in solid wood instead of slatted wood.

Shutters are kiln-dried twice in a computer-controlled drying facility, following six coats of either paint or stain. This ensures that they are less susceptible to fading and yellowing – the last layer is UV protected.

There is a choice of colours and stains and some shutters can be custom painted with Dulux or Farrow and Ball paints. A variety of hinge colours are available.

As your shutters are made to measure, our no-hassle solution means that we will visit you to measure your windows, and then will fit your shutters once they are ready.
